How it works
- Tell us about it, or just bring it in. Send the details and a few photos below and the buying desk will get back to you. No appointment needed to walk in; for a collection or a full safe, call ahead so we can set aside time.
- We look it over. Condition, features and what it’s selling for right now. Most guns take 15–20 minutes, and you’ll know exactly where you stand.
- You choose. Cash the same day, store credit toward anything in the shop (it goes further than cash), or consign it and we sell it for you.
Have a collection?
Estate collections, an inherited safe or just thinning out: we’ll go through the whole lot, make offers on individual pieces or everything together, and handle the paperwork. Call ahead at (970) 879-7565 so we can give it proper time.
What to bring
- The firearm, unloaded and cased. Not sure how to carry it in? Call and we’ll walk you through it.
- A government-issued photo ID. Federal law has us record who we buy from. You don’t go through a background check to sell to us.
- The box, manual, extra magazines or paperwork if you have them. They can raise the offer.
How we price
On what the gun is actually selling for now, its condition and demand, not guesswork. We’re a local shop, not a pawn shop: a straight number with no pressure, and no obligation to take it. We buy handguns, rifles and shotguns, modern and vintage, collectibles and estate pieces, and guns that don’t work. Condition sets the price, but plenty of rough guns still carry collector or parts value. Quality optics, magazines and accessories we look at case by case.

Common questions
Do I need an appointment?
No. Walk in during business hours. Want a ballpark first? Send the form with photos, or call and tell us what you’ve got.
Cash or store credit: what’s the difference?
Cash is paid the same day. Store credit is worth more and works on anything in the shop: guns, ammo, optics, accessories. If you’re buying something anyway, credit goes further.
How does consignment work?
We price it with you, put it on the used list and in the case, and pay you when it sells. Ask at the counter for the current consignment terms.
Do I need a background check to sell?
No. The background check is for buyers. When we buy a gun we record the purchase and your ID in our books, as federal law requires, and that’s it on your side.
I live out of state. Can I still sell to you?
Yes, in person at the shop with your ID. If you can’t come in, call before you ship anything. Carriers have their own rules for firearms, and we’ll walk you through them.
Is the price on the form an offer?
No. The form tells us what you have so we can talk. We make offers in person, once we’ve seen the firearm.
