Trijicon’s hardest-use pistol red dot, updated. 3.25 MOA dot inside a 55 MOA segmented ring, forward-facing light sensor, matte black.
The RMR earned its reputation by surviving what other optics did not. The HD keeps that housing and adds a forward-facing light sensor, so the dot meters off what you are aiming at rather than what is above the gun — the fix for washout coming out of shade into snow glare.
The 3.25 MOA dot is the faster pickup of the two; see the 1 MOA version if you want a finer aiming point at distance.
